High energy, good food

I always love cruise but this Horizon was the worst cruise ever, food not good. very disappointed , look like a hunger games with the food , Meridian restaurant took forever to served our meal literally like 2 hour. Never again Carnival no organization and I only see once the cruise director .Only I can said the bar (alchemy) was good other than that I was. waiting to get out of this ship,

After the short cruise a month prior I wasn’t sure how this cruise was going to go however thankfully, it went wonderful! Embarkation was quick and painless, Cabin was spacious, clean, and very well taken care of. Food was great. Public areas could benefit from more seating. Our food servers were the absolute best! I'm a huge fan of cruises and have always tried my best to get friends to try it. This might have changed that. This cruise a pathetically disorganized. Both boarding and disembarking were an inefficient nightmare compared to every other cruise I've taken including other Carnival cruises. The food with very few exceptions was abysmal. I alway tell people I've never had a bad meal on a cruise ship.

Just returned from our 6 night Western Caribbean Cruise last night on Carnival Horizon. Wanted to share my thoughts while still fresh. Hope this will help anyone still trying to decide on a cruise line to use. My wife and I were originally going to Alaska, with our 20 something year old children, to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Excellent cruise.loved the stops- getting in on and off the ship was super easy and convenient. I appreciated that, the accommodation was lovely. We had a balcony room and that was great, staff was phenomenal and the food was top notch!!! Thank you for having a vegan menu it was awesome.The alchemy bar was lit! The balcony room was perfect but the matre d was horrible. Didn't see them but 3 days of the cruise. The food was bland and the same thing on the buffet everyday. Fine dining was the best.
