It is imperative that “communities” (i.e. organizations) continue to see the value and develop initiatives supporting diversity, equity and inclusivity. The impact in doing has far reaching positive consequences.

Today, The Executive Leadership Council issued an open letter to the nation’s CEOs urging them to commit to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives despite the Supreme Court’s recent decision to end affirmative action. “From your employees, to your supply chain and the customers and communities you impact, it is critical that you continue to use DEI as it was intended, as a mechanism for creating an inclusive culture,” the ELC said. “Initiatives can include providing economic opportunity by expanding your recruiting efforts, connecting all leaders to your culture through employee resource groups, and providing interview training to reduce biases. In doing so, you can serve and contribute to the success of your organization.”To read the letter, click here: https://lnkd.in/eDdkRCbD#AffirmativeAction #diversityequityinclusion #SupremeCourt

We are more than half-way through Pride Month now, but there is no letting up! - if you are LGBTQ+, the quest for fuller inclusion and rights is a daily imperative: there are no days off from being who you are.Earlier this month, I was pleased to be interviewed by Broadgate's Josh Duggan for Pride Month. Among topics we covered are:🌈 my career path, through 35 years in financial services, to becoming a full-time DE&I consultant and advocate🌈 the process of embracing my authentic self in the workplace🌈 for businesses, the commercial (as well as moral) imperative of celebrating different perspectives and experiences, and mining those differences for added value🌈 the importance of authentic, inclusive leadership in bringing out the best in one's team and those within one's sphere of influence influence🌈 the ongoing need for, and value of, Pride Month.Broadgate is passionate about empowering thought leaders, and I am grateful to them for this platform, as conversations like these present a perfect opportunity to share knowledge, boost awareness, and amplify voices in the DE&I space. Please do check out the transcript of the conversation: it can be found under the 'Articles & Interviews' section on the 'Resources' page of my website, via the link in the comments below 👇🏻#pride2023#pridemonth2023#pridemonth#pride#prideatwork#lgbtq#lgbt#lgbtqia#lgbtqplus#authenticself#actforinclusion#diversity#equity#inclusion#diversityandinclusion#diversityequityandinclusion#diversityequityinclusion#diversitymatters#inclusionmatters#inclusionanddiversity#equityandinclusion#equitydiversityinclusion#dei#deib#consulting#podcast#speaker#keynotespeakerThe Inclusion Imperative
