Learn how to maximize your characters’ movesets with these tips!

byFranco Abrina

The Strongest Battlegrounds is a pretty easy to learn fighting game on Roblox, but mastering its combat mechanics is a whole other thing entirely. In this guide, we’ll quickly show you some tech moves that you can pull off with each character. Hopefully, this will help improve your effectiveness in combat and help you win those 1v1s!

All Character Techs Guide

These tech moves in The Strongest Battlegrounds are fairly easy to execute. However, you normally won’t stumble into these accidentally. This is because they require a bit of in-depth game knowledge to exploit in combat.

With that said, each character has their own unique move set, but there are a few techs that overlap. You’ll have to experiment around to figure that out, as they don’t often tend to be efficient maneuvers.

Saitama

For Saitama, you’re going to be utilizing his whole kit for a lot of these. These are mostly basic combos that require good timing to properly execute.

  • Shove + Instant M1 – Hit Uppercut and immediately Shove once the target hits the ground and press M1.
  • Uppercut Catch – After hitting an Uppercut, do a forward dash and click M1 at the right time. If the ragdoll falls close enough, just hold W instead of dashing.
  • M1 Dash Extension – Following a string of M1 attacks, do a shove and immediately forward dash to extend the combo.
  • Shove Extension – After shoving, do a quick jump + side dash in the direction of the shove and follow it up with a M1 attack.
  • Normal Punch Combo 2x M1 attacks followed by Consecutive Punches and a Normal Punch. This cannot be countered or escaped.
  • M1 Reset Extension – 2x M1 attacks followed by a side dash and an M1 a split second after pressing dash. Then, forward dash back and do one last M1.

Garou

This moveset’s tech combos will require you to have a low ping, as even just a bit of lag will throw your timing way off.

  • Flowing Grasp Combo – Cast Flowing Water, then turn on shift lock and spam the Hunter’s Grasp button after the attack ends.
  • Flowing Whirlwind Combo – Cast Flowing Water, then immediately turn on shift lock + side dash before using Lethal Whirlwind Stream.
  • Whirlwind Grasp Combo – After using Lethal Whirlwind Stream, instantly cast Hunter’s Grasp.
  • Hunter’s Grasp Catch – Downslam + Hunter’s Grasp then side dash toward the ragdoll to start an M1 string.
  • Prey’s Peril Cancel – After successfully countering with Prey’s Peril, quickly turn around right before the knockback hits.
  • Flowing Water Dash – After casting Flowing Water, immediately follow it up with a front dash attack.
  • M1 Dash Combo – Do a normal full M1 string but tap S and dash forward immediately after the last M1

Genos

Genos’ tech moves are mainly simple combos that you can pull off with little practice. They are the following:

  • Ignition Burst Extension – Do a full M1 string and cast Ignition Burst to hit them as they ragdoll. Immediately dash toward where they are knocked back and start another M1 string.
  • Barrage – Simply cast Machine Gun Blows and turn around right before the punch + kick launcher.
  • “Explosive Fart” – Turn around as you are casting Ignition Burst to burn the target and very quickly turn around again. You can also do an uppercut before this combo.
  • Longer Jet Dive – Just turn around before the jump and your Jet Dive will get more range.

Sonic

Sonic’s moveset is incredibly flashy, and you should try these combos out if you want to look like the one of the most stylish fighters in the entire server:

  • Flash Strike Scatter – Finish an M1 string and cast Flash Strike followed by a properly aimed Scatter.
  • Double Downslam Shuriken – Land a downslam and cast Whirlwind Kick. Follow this up with an Explosive Shuriken.

Metal Bat

Metal Bat may feel a bit slow, but you can pull off some sick combos with it if you know how to string together your moves.

  • Homerun Slam – After knocking up an enemy with Homerun, hit a well-aimed Grand Slam in mid-air to shove them back down.
  • Homerun Beatdown – Similar to the previous one, just knock somebody up with Homerun and try to land a Beatdown wherever they might land.
  • Homerun Extension – Land a Homerun and dash forward to where they might fall to hit some additional M1 attacks.
  • Foul Ball Extension – Land a Foul Ball Grab Variant and quickly dash into the ragdoll to land some M1 attacks.
  • Foul Ball Extension 2 Downslam an enemy and dash away to land a normal Foul Ball. Then, dash toward the ragdoll to hit more M1 attacks.
  • Double Downslam Beatdown Downslam and hit a Homerun Dash Variant, then immediately follow up with a Beatdown.

Atomic Samurai

The Atomic Samurai recently became free, so people are still figuring out how to take full advantage of his moves. Here are some possibilities:

  • Quick Slice Spin – Land 3 M1 attacks and turn around to cast Quick Slice. If done correctly, your character should dash behind the target upon casting the ability.
  • Pinpoint Cut Extension – After landing a Pinpoint Cut, simply dash towards where the target is knocked back to catch them with M1 attacks.
